Samantha Zipporah will be featured in a virtual series hosted by Yelala - a Earth-based, feminist, femme-honoring Jewish community on January 29th.

In the three-part series, entitled “Doorways of Life: Birth”, Sam will highlight concepts from her book “Please Bleed! Plants & Practical Magic”. She will provide clear & grounded information about plant-allied fertility management. Distinctions among herbal medicines applied for purposes of contraception, implantation inhibition, & abortion will be illuminated. Herbal actions upon our biochemistry & anatomy at various stages of womb cycles will be explained. Examples of specific plants, historical practices, & contemporary first person anecdotes will be given.

This course is open to Jewish folk and allies of any gender who are curious about this subject. It is not aimed only at those who have given birth or wish to do so.
