*This offering centers folks with menstrual cycles who do not wish to be pregnant. That being said, people all genders, sexual expressions, & reproductive abilities are welcome to join the circle! If you do not have a menstrual cycle &/or do not tend to prefer sexual activities that may result in conception, your presence can help heal culture / community / clients.

Eros & Artemis
Eros is a mediator & unifier between body & soul, inner & outer, self & other, the sacred & the profane, the human & the animate world. Eros enlivens the body & opens us beyond fear so that we may live from wider, more erotic capacity.
Artemis is a lunar goddess, governing cycles of being, becoming, death, & rebirth. She is non-dual & shape-shifting; embodying both the wild wide-eyed doe as well as the cunning skill & intuition of the huntress. She is an apt guide for navigating the complex, cyclic, non-dual nature of menstruality, sexuality, & holistic contraception with confidence, clarity, & skill.
We will invoke her power to create synergy & integration of the ungovernable wildness of our wombs & the precision of skill required to enjoy Eros, pleasure, & our bodies while avoiding pregnancy using fertility awareness.
Artemisia
Known as “The Mother of Herbs”, the genus of Artemisia has been an ally for womb sovereignty across the globe & throughout history. Artemisias are also revered & utilized for dream work & protection magic, creating boundaries & bridges with the subconscious & the spirit world.
Artemisia vulgaris, commonly known as mugwort, is universally, historically, & cross culturally associated with womb wisdom & sovereignty. During this weekend immersion we will experience ethically & lovingly prepared Artemisia medicines through all of the senses. We will sit with her essence in meditation, & take care to relate somatically & spiritually to this potent being before learning about the biochemical constituents, & how they affect hormones & tissues.
Menstruality & Fertility Awareness
Menstruality is a term that encompasses the study & practice of honoring the menstrual cycle as a teacher & guide, observing how the cycle influences our bodies & beings. Participants will be offered tools & teachings for deepening their intimacy with & understanding of the cycle as a microcosm of all creation.
Fertility Awareness Methods scientifically track bio-markers to determine the limited window of time when conception may result from sperm exposure, & to confirm that ovulation has occurred. Proven to be as effective as condoms when practiced correctly, we will learn the basic principles of the sympto-thermal method of fertility awareness during our gathering. Your facilitator has been practicing this method of fertility awareness as contraception for nearly 20 years.
Both menstruality & fertility awareness will be illuminated as frameworks for living in reverent, erotic, dynamic balance with our own body ecology. Cycle awareness & synergy can connect us not only with our own eros in service to ego, but also the greater ecologies of our relationship with both human & the more-than-human world.

Opportunity to soak in a hot tub, cold plunge & sauna after the gathering on Sunday evening at a private home a 10 minute drive away from Concrescence
Where We Will Gather
Concrescence is nestled at the edge of an open clearing circled by cedar trees on the upper part of a rural five acre plot of land in the Eaglemount area, about 20 minutes south of Port Townsend. There are gardens, a pond, & in the woods, short trails & campsites.
The 30 foot yurt that will hold us is an open space with a large copper & driftwood altar table, a wood stove, & insulated wood floor. A large partially covered deck overlooks the pond & garden.
Rustic tent camping is available at no extra cost on the beautiful land where we will gather, with kitchen & composting toilet access, & warm showers included.
Meet Your Facilitator
Samantha Zipporah
Sam is a blood midwife, author, & educator with over 20 years of experience in devotion to radical womb wisdom. Her path rises from an ancient lineage of midwives, witches, & wise women with expertise spanning the continuum of birth, sex, & death. She is devoted to breaking the spells of oppression in reproductive & sexual health by connecting people with the innate pleasure, power, & wisdom of the body. Her praxis weaves scientific & soulful inquiry that integrate modern medicine & data with ancestral practices & epistemologies.
Sam has been observing her menstrual cycle in connection to the moon & supporting it with herbal allies for over 26 years, & has been tracking her fertile window & ovulation using fertility awareness for nearly 20.
